Well, we didn't get booked to play The Royal Wedding last weekend [*], but Macaroni Penguins will be playing at The Royal Oak, Cromhall on Sunday 27th May 2018.

We are due to play between 4pm and 6pm, and will be inside, so umbrellas are optional.

[*] Probably because we tend to sneak "Is She Really Going Out With Him?" on to the set list at weddings.

Macaroni Penguins will be playing at The Star Inn, Wotton-under-Edge on Saturday 3rd December 2016.

With so many legends departing 2016 has been a rubbish year for music, so why not cap it all off by coming to a Macaroni Penguins live gig.

I expect we'll be kicking off around 9pm (at least that's when I'll be there). And if anyone's got my music stand (last seen at Beer & Bands) I'd appreciate it's return.

Macaroni Penguins will be returning to Wotton-under-Edge for Beer & Bands 2016.

The event is organised by Wotton-under-Edge Lions Club, and the name should give you a pretty good idea of what it's about.

Macaroni Penguins will be playing at The Star Inn, Wotton-under-Edge on Saturday 12th December 2015.

If you enjoyed our appearance as the answer to a question on University Challenge recently, then come along and hear was we sound like when we're playing songs. Oh, go on, we're going to rehearse and everything.

Macaroni Penguins are playing tonight (Friday, 29th May) at The Black Horse Inn, North Nibley as part of their Beer & Cider festival. Come along, have a drink and enjoy the bands!

We're playing from 6pm - 7:30pm (I think! - that's when I'll be there anyway)

Gig: 25th August - Stonehouse Court Hotel, Stroud

Breaking News... We're going to playing at Stonehouse Court Hotel (at Stonehouse, near Stroud) on Sunday 25th August 2013, as part of their Bank Holiday Summer Fun Day.

Yes, this is the same day we'll be be playing The Old Spot Chill Out, but this gig promises to be somewhat different to normal.

We'll be playing from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (and then packing up and heading to Dursley).

Gig: 25th August - The Old Spot Inn, Dursley

We're returning to The Old Spot Inn, Dursley on 25th August 2013 to play the legendary Old Spot Chill Out.

Not quite sure what time we'll be on, but I'll let you know as soon as I know.

Macaroni Penguins are returning to Wotton-under-Edge for Beer & Bands 2013. You can probably guess what the format of the evening is from the name. The venue is Conygres, and I understand that you can buy tickets in Wotton from Bear Street Garage for £6. We'll be playing from 8pm to 9pm.

Gig: 14th July 2013 - The Old Spot Inn, Dursley

We'll by playing Spotfest 2013 at The Old Spot Inn, Dursley on 14th July 2013. The line-up for the event is The Whole Grand Scheme, Macaroni Penguins and Thrill Collins. The fun starts at 4pm... (and then stops when we take the stage, probably around 6pm).

2013-07-12 Update: I've just heard that The Whole Grand Scheme will be playing from 4pm, Macaroni Penguins from 6pm and Thrill Collins at 8pm.

Gig: 25th May - Synwell Club, Wotton-under-Edge

We've had a bit of a break. At least Tim has - he broke his wrist. But it's all mended now and he's drumming like a drummer again.

So, we'll be back on stage on 25th May at Synwell Playing Fields, Wotton-under-Edge at a fun day to raise money for Meningitis UK.

The event starts at 2pm, and we expect to playing around 4pm.

Macaroni Penguins are returning to Upton Snodsbury Music Festival on Saturday, 15th September 2012 to play at Snodfest 2012.

There are 20 bands lined-up to play over 10 hours of live music, and we are the final band on, scheduled to play at 10:10pm. So come on down, enjoy the fun and pace yourselves!

Gig: 19th May - Heaven of the South

Macaroni Penguins will be returning to the Heaven of the South, Mountain Biking Festival on 19th May 2012 at Kingswood, as the world didn't end the last time we played Heaven. This year we'll be playing inside the Village Hall from 7pm - 8pm (so the power should be a bit cleaner).

I realise that you'll have to be quite a committed fan to cycle 46 miles just to have a chance of seeing us for an hour, but hey, the weather might not be as bad as you expect!
