Full English Nibfest

No-one told the weather, but Summer is here and Macaroni Penguins are out gigging. After a few private parties (including a trip to play on the Isle of Wight) we have some public gigs coming up...

On Saturday 14th July 2007 we will be playing at Nibfest (or the North Nibley Music Festival to give it it's proper name). We are scheduled to be on stage at 10pm. For more details and tickets see the Nibfest web page (or get in touch with Mark - and I hope he's booked some decent weather).

And if that wasn't enough we will be following that, on Wednesday 18th July 2007, with a gig at The Old Spot in Dursley, we're on around 8:30pm, entry is free.

Hope to see you there...

Massive thanks to all of you for turning out and, on account of the very real risk of electrocution, squeezing into our lounge on Sat night. Much appreciated by everyone.

Good luck at NIbfest, Carolyne and Rupert

A big thank-you to everyone who turned out for Nibfest 2007. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

And if you want to hear more (or if you couldn't make it on Saturday) we are playing at The Old Spot, Dursley on Wednesday, 18th July. Hope to see you there...

We did enjoy 'Nibfest' and thank you. What a fantastic day, even the sun turned up :-)

Another thank you to the extremely enthusiastic crowd - it makes all the difference if the audience are enjoying themselves (or are polite enough to pretend to be ;-).

I learned a valuable rock 'n' roll lesson, too - never play drums in a penguin suit in summer.

Never play drums in a penguin suit in summer...

Now I have visions of Tim dressed as a penguin on the icy wastes in winter, waiting patiently for months - with a drum-kit balanced on his feet - for the return of the rest of the band...
